This was a loft extension with a difference – an exciting brief to design a glazing system across the width of an apartment facade. dRAW Architects devised a structure that could be fully glazed and non-load bearing. It was our challenge to design and install at this high level location.
Our slim frame SL800 sliding system has a slide away corner detail, and the two full-height oriel or glass box windows are integral to the contemporary look of the property as well as cleverly increasing floor space and a sense of the outside world. Finally, frameless glass balustrading ensures uninterrupted views from this stunning, light-filled home. Structural engineers: Atlas Structures
