GLAZING TO MAKE THE MOST OF A GREAT SOUTH COAST LOCATION

A two storey pavilion-style, natural stone and glass home built high up on a hill with magnificent far-reaching views to Poole Harbour, Sandbanks and Studland Bay in Dorset. This new build has a huge open plan living area, with wrap around glass walls and sliding doors opening out to terraces with frameless glass balustrades.

BESPOKE SLIDING DOORS

In total, twelve individual floor-to-ceiling sliding systems were installed, each custom-made to its position. Some had two moving panels, others designed with four, either opening from the centre or to the side, and filling openings up to six metres wide. Designed with slim-line mid-section interlocks, the panels also varied in width (from 1000mm to 1500mm) to ensure each system achieved the maximum possible glass area.

Installed with flush thresholds, the systems run on stainless steel wheels and tracks, lifting and sliding for one-handed effortless operation.

Of course we took photos of this lovely south coast home in balmy sunshine, but our initial survey factored seasonal winds and rains when specifying glazing suitable for its exposed coastal position.The ODC 300 sliding doors and ODC75 windows are high performance systems.
