What can you expect when you engage ODC for your architectural glazing project?
Above all, we pride ourselves on giving our clients exceptional customer service, from the moment you contact us to final installation and after-sales support.
In our experience, communication is key to the success of every project and so you’ll find us professional, proactive and responsive at every stage.
Once we have received your enquiry, you will be contacted by a member of the team to discuss the details of your project.
Our experienced team will scrutinize the specification for your architectural glazing and advise on the most suitable system for your project and suggest a preliminary design. Please ask them any questions you may have as they can guide you as to what is and isn’t possible for your particular project, highlighting examples of similar work in our portfolio.
Most customers choose to visit one of our two showrooms in either West London or Poole, to see our systems close up and feel first hand their superior engineering and finish. It’s also a good time to consider other options, finishes and accessories like blinds and awnings.
Once we have established your preferred sliding door, bifold door or window requirements and budget, our skilled technical estimators will prepare a quote. We will email this to you, copying in your architect or builder, should you wish.
Once your quotation is approved and an order placed, you will be assigned a project coordinator from our customer services team, who will book a site survey. Not all projects require a site visit; however, for those that do, our surveyors work closely with your architect and builder to provide technical solutions, answer queries and solve specific challenges. They will spend time verifying dimensions or measuring up for the glazing systems you have chosen.
It was great to visit the showroom – see the products in situ, feel the products. The advice I was given was very professional and I came away feeling very comfortable – and that’s why we went with ODC. The installation was very quick, very efficient, very professional and the guys were extremely clean, caring and very respectful. Following that, if there were any small niggles or anything that needed a bit of attention then they were only a phone call away. Nothing was a problem.
With your survey completed our design and project co-ordination teams can spring into action. If necessary, detailed drawings are created of your bespoke doors and/or windows incorporating fixings, glass specs, frames and constructions. We can use CAD files supplied by your architect to incorporate our products into your construction. We then produce a finalised order, incorporating any design changes and for you to sign off for manufacturing.
Next, we order the materials and assign a manufacturing slot within our production plan. Your dedicated project coordinator will keep you updated with progress reports and answer any further questions you may have.
Once we have a manufacturing completion date, you’ll receive a call to agree a suitable date for installation. Our manufacturing facility in Poole allows us to oversee every step of production and your glazing system will undergo a vigorous five check point quality control before its release for delivery to site.
The day has arrived for your windows and doors to be fitted. Our installation team liaises with your project coordinator to understand the specifics of your site and any particular requirements. The team is well-briefed and will arrive on time to fit all systems carefully and efficiently to the highest standard.
We are members of the Glass & Glazing Federation and CQMS Safety Scheme as well CHAS accredited contractors, and you will find our teams organised, responsible and professional.
We have a dedicated Customer Service department and phone line should any queries arise, or you need any advice on maintenance of your system.
Please call us on 03300 586 793 to discuss your planned project. We’ll be delighted to hear from you!
