Refurbishment of Muswell Hill home
Sliding ODC SL 320 doors on two levels give this extension a modernist look
SL 320 sliding doors lead onto a wood-decked balcony
The kitchen cum living room has lovely views over North London thanks to its large sliding SL 320 doors
At garden level a further set of SL 320 doors opens either end to link the teenage den to the outdoors.
The loft extension bedroom has SL 320 doors combined with a glass balustrade
At this height, the views through the 'glass wall' are even better than from the kitchen
A tall slot ODC75 window in the en-suite complements the shape of the sliding door panels.
Now on four levels, this home shows what can be achieved with vision and hard work
A 1930s Muswell Hill home was completely renovated, by extending its kitchen and loft and making clever use of a dead space underneath the kitchen. Our SL 320 sliding doors were added to three levels of the house. A large family room was created in the basement and given access to the garden through the glass doors; the kitchen opens onto a generous balcony; and, the master bedroom in the loft has stunning views across the city. Glass balustrade has been added to the glass sliding doors in the loft, and the small ensuite shower room has a large vertical slot window to maximise light and the sense of space.
