Maximum light for a north-facing extension
French doors as an alternative to bifolds or sliding doors
Which glass structure to choose? Our experts can discuss with you the level of insulation required, the style of the architecture, the size of the glass structure, the design of your roofing sections and the choice of material finish
This project conceived by architects Gruff Ltd uses a simple and classic material palette of brick, metal and glass to provide a new kitchen and dining space within a generously sized rear extension to a large three-storey Victorian property in South East London.
The aluminium framed ‘Crittall style’ windows and large rooflight maximise daylight to the north facing rooms. The horizontal profiles align and run across the glazing on three sides of the extension.
