Unique Aluminium arched window

This was a full renovation of an unusual 1980s home, and we were only contacted at the point when the client was ready to place the order. Our design team had to move quickly to produce some unusual windows.

The dramatic arched aluminium window over the front door is not an average design. By careful templating we were able to ensure our aluminium profile fitted the arch perfectly. We also needed to specify curtain walling in order to hide the floor joists and to house an opening window.

The aluminium louvred panels used in other parts of the home were a feature that the client was very keen to incorporate as they provide a huge amount of ventilation whilst keeping the home secure. In a first for our design team, we created a bespoke design incorporating glazed doors, opening windows as well as these louvred panels.

Aluminium windows for security

With home security a priority, all windows and doors were fitted with toughened glass; specified locks have high security half thumb-turn cylinders. Aluminium is an extremely robust fenestration frame material and offers high levels of resistance against opportunistic intruders, making it an exceptional choice for the louvred side panels.

Bespoke paint finishes

The non-standard Mouse Grey matt finish chosen for the window and door frames beautifully complements the soft London brick facades and muted calm interior palette of this stylish property. It’s a delight to see a bespoke window colour option used so successfully.
