Black Aluminium Windows for woodland home
This new build home is modest and light in its environmental footprint. Constructed using a Structurally Insulated Panel system like our own Show House, it has a super-insulated shell sealed with breathable membranes, into which our high-performance windows are precision-taped.
Its charred timber and recycled metal cladding, aluminium windows and doors are all durable, low-maintenance materials.
Slimline matt black windows
The high performance ODC SL68 window system provide the thermal performance and minimalist design for this restrained and refined design. We particularly like the long, extremely narrow, lance-like fixed window to the rear of the property and the slim clerestory windows that hug the ceiling in the dining area. But the wow factor is delivered by the first floor glass corner window – and you won’t be surprised to learn it’s the homeowner’s favourite feature.
Black as standard
All glazing elements are finished in a standard matt black powder coating, from the large format bifold doors opening onto the rear patio to the bespoke fixed and opening window configurations that deliver views across the tree canopy from every angle.
The aluminium panel external doors deliver security, thermal performance and low maintenance. One of five ODC external door designs, the Harmatten offers optimal thermal efficiency and is here fitted with spyhole and letterplate.
