A New Glass Showroom for Dorset
Our specially commissioned Glass Show House is completed (bar a few finishing touches) and we’re delighted to be opening it to clients next month.
Designed by local Dorset architects, ARC and constructed from Ecologic’s SIPs (Structurally Insulated Panels), it doubles our Poole glass showroom space for Dorset and South coast customers, creating even more hands-on opportunities to explore our sliding doors and architectural glass design.
A fully glazed house to explore
Our new showroom consists of a small-scale, fully glazed house and garden room. Explore ODC’s range of sliding door designs, glass extensions, windows, roof lights and features like glass corners to inspire your own project planning.
It’s the perfect real-life resource to help you envisage how glazing will create your own views and an inside/outside feel for your home.
And it will give you insight into how we create bespoke glazing solutions for unique openings and spaces.
What’s on show?
We have maximised installation capacity in this small space to show you a wealth of glazing possibilities. Fitted with a glass front door featuring an ODC ‘swing’ door panel, it’s a light-filled structure designed for contemporary lifestyles.
Structural glazing to see includes a stunning glass box entrance, a glass link structure and a large-format full-height glass corner with structural glass-to-glass joints.
Discover our popular slimline aluminium casement windows, but also exciting bespoke designs like a fixed triangular gable window with a glass-to-glass joint and a dramatic glass box roof window.
Get hands on with the latest ODC SL400 sliding doors, here with both fixed and sliding panels. They offer an exceptional combination of slimline sightlines and market-leading weather performance for coastal and exposed locations.
Our best performing ‘lift & slide’ system, the ODC 300+ Patio sliding door, can be found in the garden room, with fixed and sliding panels and a glass-to-glass corner.
Look up for contemporary fixed flat rooflights and a focal point fixed roof lantern with structurally bonded, glass-to-glass joints. And as you cross the terrace, you’ll see walk-on rooflights suitable for balconies and basements.
Dorset construction partnerships
We invited several Dorset suppliers to contribute to the creation of our new showroom space. So, in addition to our beautiful ODC glazing, you’ll find examples of quality construction, roofing, flooring and interiors products. We’re sure you’ll find a visit to this unique architectural design hub inspiring, informative and helpful.
Call our Poole team today – they’ll be delighted to hear about your project and give you a tour of our new show glass house.
