Initial enquiry and discovery
Once we receive your enquiry an experienced sales consultant will contact you to discuss the project further.
Our sales consultants ensure they fully understand the specification required for your architectural glazing and will advise on glass and frame choice. Please ask them any questions you may have as they can guide you as to what is and isn’t possible for your particular project, highlighting examples of similar previous work in our portfolio.
Following our discussions with you to ascertain your sliding door, folding door and window needs and budget, our skilled technical estimators will prepare a quote. We will email this to you, copying in your architect or builder, should you wish.
You can make an appointment or drop in Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.30 and Saturday 10.00 – 15.00 in London; Monday – Friday between 08.30 – 17.30 in Poole, with showroom visits by appointment only on Saturdays.
Not all projects require a site visit, however for those that do our surveyors work closely with your architect and builder to understand and provide solutions for technical queries as well as agreeing dimensions or measuring up for the glazing you have chosen.
Once your quotation is approved and an order placed, our design and project co-ordination teams spring into action. Detailed drawings are created of your bespoke doors and/or windows incorporating fixings, glass specs, frame and constructions. We can use CAD files supplied by your architect to incorporate our systems into your construction drawings.
Next, we order the materials and place the manufacturing order. Your dedicated project coordinator is appointed as your ODC contact to answer any further questions that may arise.
ODC has its own manufacturing facility in Poole, allowing us to deliver the best possible windows and doors for our customers. For peace of mind and to maintain our high standards, our manufacturing process includes a vigorous five check point quality control system, and we offer a 10 year guarantee on our products.
During this period, your project coordinator will keep you updated with progress reports. Once we have a manufacturing completion date, you will receive a call to arrange the installation date.
The day has arrived for your windows and doors to take their places in your home. Our installation team works closely with your project coordinator to understand the specifics of your home and requirements. The team is well-rehearsed and will arrive on time to carefully and efficiently fit everything to the highest standard.
We are members of the Glass & Glazing Federation and CQMS Safety Scheme as well CHAS accredited contractors, all of which establish us as maintaining safety standards in all aspects of our work.
