Large kitchen extension in North London
Love the space you're in
Horizontally moveable, large expanses of glass panels, combined with fine, elegant frames define the Cero's characteristics
This project was a complete house refurbishment in North London, where the clients undertook a large extension at the back of their end-of-terraced Victorian home. The existing space at the rear of the property consisted of a small reception room opening onto the garden, and a separate kitchen/breakfast room.
The project involved opening these two rooms up, as well as extending to the side and rear of the property. The tall ceiling heights of period properties lend themselves very well to architectural glazing systems. By adding a three-panel Cero sliding system to the rear of the extension, measuring five metres wide and three metres high, the entire kitchen and living space now connects seamlessly with the garden. Polished concrete was used both in the kitchen and on the outside patio area to enhance the sense of blending both areas.
